IField studies related to the compilation of important elements of intangible cultural heritage in the December District of ğdır are continuing. With the studies to be carried out, cultural values will be recorded and transferred to future generations.
The Cultural Heritage Conservation Application and Research Centre, which operates with the aim of carrying the historical and cultural richness of Iğdır to future generations, has initiated an important study on the compilation of intangible cultural heritage. In this context, the centre acts with the mission of protecting, researching and transferring the unique cultural elements of the region to future generations. In addition, in this study, which reflects the rich history and culture of Igdir, especially intangible cultural heritage products are prioritised. Elements such as traditional handicrafts, folkloric values, legends and local rituals are examined in depth. These researches, which aim to illuminate and preserve the historical texture of the district of Aralık, aim to strengthen the cultural identity of the people of the region by emphasising it. The Centre encourages the participation of the local community and aims at sustainability of cultural heritage through knowledge sharing. This important initiative has the potential to be an important milestone in revitalising Iğdır's cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations. The Cultural Heritage Conservation Application and Research Centre stands out as an important stakeholder in protecting the cultural diversity in the region.
